MENOPAUSE & PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

Updated: Aug 31, 2021

Women reported less nausea, headaches, joint pain, dizziness.

Although some research has less evidence than some, all of the ones I have read show that women at a healthy weight range through menopause report less severe physical symptoms. This shows the most benefit to menopausal symptoms.

Bone density rapidly decreases post menopause but the effects of exercise, particularly weight bearing activities such as resistance training on improvements in bone density is huge in pre and post natal women.
